conceal carrying a hand gun.  The officer saw Paul Douglas Anderson, feet dangling from a donations bin in  Springville, Utah. The officer told Anderson to take his hands out of his pocket. Anderson  eventually  took his hand out and started punching the officer in the face. Derek Meyer saw the attack and pulled over and drew his gun to defend the officer. The officer sufferd a fractured eye socket. "Meyer saved his life" said Cpl. Cory Waters of Springville Police. "I didn’t do it to get any extra attention or to have people talk about me or anything I did." "There aren’t enough “good stories from responsible, gun-owning people,” said Meyer.
