No. Plant only can respond with their cell and i don't plant have 'brain' like organ such as human that can feel, can think, remember and the cell absolutely is the most primitive form of living things, even they combine and be the plant but there are no effective comunication between those cell, it only do respond to survive. Human can feel because human brain will release something like dopamine when we angry, happy and sad.In my opinion, plant can only feel when plant have brain or they can speak can start to think other things instead of survive only.

Yes i think plant can hear music as sound transfered through vibrations, it means that plants can feel the vibration. Some studies show that jazz music has great impact on plant's growth. In terms of feeling, plants do have feeling as they can feel the pain and they scream when in pain. It just that human cannot hear it.

Saya rasa pokok ada perasaan dan dapat mendengar. Bagi saya semua organisma hidup di muka bumi berinteraksi dan mempengaruhi kitaran hidup antara satu sama lain. Plants do not have specialized organs that allow them to 'feel' like animal does. For us human, we are able to fell due to the high amount of neurons and the complex tissue that we have in our brain. As for hearing,the answer would be yes and no, they cant really hear but they do able to detect sound vibration taht would somehow stimulate mr bean's watermelon plant. What do sound vibration does to plants? I am sorry for i dont have the necessary knowledge to answer that :(

Yes because plant can response to stimuli. The plant's response to the stimuli can be considered as a way of the plant showing its ‘feelings'. Stimulis such as light and sound can affect a plants growth. It doesn't actually work like human but it is analogous in many ways. As i know, sound is a wave and more specifically, a pulse wave .This simply means that it is formed by areas of higher and lower pressure in the atmosphere through which it travels. Term such as amplitude, when we used in reference to sound, are actually referringto the plot of the air pressure versus time on a graph. There is very little difference to a plant in music and ambient noise.
However, i might want to consider this question from another perspective .It might possible that a plants which are expoed to music may grow more than plants that are not. This may be because the plant themselves respond to the music, their character. Maybe the plants which are exposed to music receive better care than those which do not. I think might be worth looking into.

Also, the article i read state that researchers from the University of Missouri found plants respond to attack. They discovered the sound of caterpillars eating made them more defensive. Plants that heard caterpillar sounds released more mustard oils, which are unappealing to caterpillars and thus ward them off but plants that heard the wind, despite having a similar acoustic sound, knew not to waste their defensive capabilities. Before I answering Dr's question, I just want to say I am genuinely interested to the secret life of plants.

1. Do plants have feelings ? In my opinion, FREAKING YES. Why? Simple PLANTS REACT TO STIMULI. Even though plants do not have specialized organs like brain and system like nervous system like we, the humans do, plants do feel. For example, look at Mimosa pudica, a plant where it shrinks and closes its leaves when being touched. Besides, look at the Venus's flytrap, where it shuts and traps the insect that landed on it and to consume the trapped insect. Next, the stimuli like temperature and light are the stimulus that affecting the plants' growth. For me, all those stimulus and reactions by the plants are the way of the plants to express its "feelings"

2. To justify about the music in Mr. Bean's video I would say plants only react to the particles vibration made by the music. For this, I do think that different vibration will affect the plants growth considering that plants reacts differently when "stress" such as light and temperature changes.

The plants can feel the humidity, the concentration of CO2, the fertilization, etc.

Based on the Mr. Bean’s video, I think plants have feelings but they cannot hear sound. The watermelon grew faster in the video when Mr. Bean gave it some classical music this is not because it can hear music, it was just react to the wave of the music when the music played. There are experiments that scientists had done which were letting 2 plants grow under to different types of music. The music is differed into 2 categories which are classical and mad rock music. The results tell that plants grow better under the classical music compare to the plants that grow under the mad rock music. In my opinion this is because rock music and classical music are different from sound wave pattern. The classical music has smooth wave pattern and rock music has complicated sound wave. Besides, in my opinion, plants have feelings, because they can sense the presence of water and react, and even obstacles from the said of some plant scientists and had proven with experiments. For example, plants’ roots will shift their growing direction to avoid obstacles if there is the presence of obstacles and the roots will grow toward the direction of the area where there is presence of water.
