My Padlet will allow us to quickly explore my musical mind and approach. Starting with my definition of music. Music to me is simply the expression of self through structured sound. When you combine creative thought and critical thinking, music can be produced at levels of beauty. From there, when the right person hears this magical combination of thought and application you plant a seed. This seed of music can be inspiring, thought provoking, and even life saving. Each and everyday we all interact with music. This interaction may be willing or even by accident. For me this a pivotal role of my day to day life. Each day I grab my headphones before I leave. As I walk around campus I absolutely have to listen to my music. Without my music I feel unfulfilled and as if something is missing. Without my loud and verbally aggressive "trap" or "hardcore rap" I feel like the day is much slower and boring. This is why I call "trap" music my music. I resonate with the "go-getter", no excuse attitude that is often displayed through violence and criminal activity. I would hope it's clear I don't participate in those activities.
