         <title>Education is an essential piece of growing into a contributing member in our society.  School and the teaching profession is responsible for all other professions becoming a possibility.  Curriculum is the basis of content and skills that students are expected to learn throughout their time in school.  Through collaboration among teachers, administrators and district leaders, a curriculum that best fits our students should be developed.  The curriculum is the blanket in which all students will learn.  However, this is effected when educating students with disabilities.  While the curriculum is still being taught, the approach to the instruction will vary along with additional accommodations and modifications.  Although the curricula in many schools are district wide, teachers often create their own curricula for additional skills taught in the classroom.  I believe it is beneficial to have a curriculum that goes across a grade level to ensure all skills and objectives are being met.  However, when it comes to students with disabilities who are significantly below grade level, they should be expected to meet objectives on their instructional level, rather than their grade level.  #educationisthekeytosuccess </title>
