After Johnny stabbed Bob Ponyboy said, “You really killed him, huh, Johnny? Then Johnny said “Yeah, I had to, they were drowning you, Pony” (50).This shows how he is also motivated by his friends because when he saw that Ponyboy was in danger  he decided to save him because he know how it feels to be jumped and fell the pain and he didn’t want Ponyboy to change and become shaky and scared like what happened to himself after he got jumped. One of his strengths it that he protects his friends because he is brave and he is also thoughtful because he knows how it feels to have no one care about him. He knows how to help people in a mental ways because he has experienced much worse at his home. Before Johnny died he said  “Stay gold, Ponyboy, stay gold” (126). Which means he was telling Ponyboy to stay pure which are good last words.  Johnny was very thoughtful talking to him in a very bold way when Ponyboy was scared at the Hospital.  He also showed his bravery and smarts when the cut there long silky hair that made them a greaser  to disguise themselves (It was the one thing they were proud about). First he is scared to interact sometimes because of when he got jumped when he was just a young kid. Another weakness is he has no family that loves him, so he does not know how it feels to be cared about and wanted (unlike Pony and his brothers). Another one of his weaknesses is that he is jealous of Ponyboy and his brothers, because they have such a good bond and he wants to have something like they have. One day the gang found Johnny lying down in the lot. Johnny said “There were a whole bunch of them”(30). Johnny was at the lot and 4 Socs cornered him, they beat him half to death. Johnny is a tough man but he can’t help being sad that he has no family that loves him. He also is jumpy because when he was a kid he nearly died because a bunch of Socs jumped him.

He’s also a round character because you know a lot of SCHEMA about him and he is very important(he impacts the story). We new lots of things about Johnny for example him being jumped, going from confident to scared, having no family that loved him, and he also had a great gang. Johnny is a dynamic character too because he changes over time. For example he goes from being alive to being dead and he starts off being scared and jumpy but he ends up being somewhat brave and heroic. [Johnny] “Where’s the kids”(79)? Johnny went in the burning church and died to save a bunch of helpless kids. When he saved the kids from the burning church he showed his bravery because he gave his life to save some children. This shows that Johnny is a great man.

He is conscientious because of when he got jumped as a kid. So now he is very aware of his surroundings. He is also very low in extraversion (7.5%), which means he does not seek the outside world. He does not often seek attention and is shy around new people. [Johnny] managed to say a shy, “Hi” to Cherry. In the book when Johnny was around Cherry and the other girl at the movies he was very shy and nervous. Johnnys score of agreeableness was 57.5% which is low. That means that he puts his needs in front of others. Low scorers are often described as hostile, competitive, and antagonistic, which is not really true for Johnny because he is not very aggressive (except with Bob, but that was because Ponyboy was in danger and we already talked about how he is protective of his friends). They also tend to have more conflictual relationships and often fall out with people. So In conclusion Johnny is organized and aware of his surrounding but he rarely puts himself in front of others.
