2. Another observation is that Stalin has his hand in his pocket almost as if he is hiding something.
3. A final observation is that the crowd looks oblivious to what is happening, they all are just there smiling not paying attention to the control Joseph Stalin has on them.
I believe the poster is trying to make the Russian's think that Joseph Stalin is there "God". Seeing how he is proportioned on the poster it seems like they are trying to make it seem like he is bigger and better.
