So that the audience can know that this scene plays a huge role within the play.

Having been a fan of The Crucible I enjoyed putting my own creative ideas into this play while staying true to the original. It was enjoyable to see what it would be like to direct a play and how it would to work with others to bring an idea to life. I think a play like The Crucible continues to stay relevant in todays times due to the themes within the play. It is important to bring life lessons into art forms so someone who is admiring the art can feel some sort of connection and relate to it.
