Even though the genre is one of my favorites, which is science fiction, I still got a little bored at one point. In the beginning of the book I struggled to even read it because it was just so boring but I did bring myself to keep reading. After I got past that part everything just began to flow and I couldn't put the book down. Take a mother and her child for instance, the child will whine till it gets their food which will make the mother give them the food so they can be quiet.
(Pg.75) "Duh du jour." I frankly found this quote interesting because I didn't know what it meant. I looked it up and it means "duh of the day" which now makes sense because they always had it after someone asked a dumb question.
(Pg.182) "Grace let him go and wiped her tears away." This book is one of those that leave you in suspense when you don't wan to be. But that's what makes it way better to read, it gets to the point where you don't want to put it down. You might just even walk into a pole just because you can't put it down. In the song Zendaya says "When danger comes for you, you know I'll stand beside you" and this relates to the book because Marty still came to save Grace even though she wasn't aware of the danger that eventually came her way.
