The European Union (EU) is a special economic and political union made up of 27 nations in Europe.

The EU helped enhance living standards, bring about more than 50 years of peace, stability, and prosperity, and introduce the euro as a unified European currency.

The EU is still committed to improving the democratic and openness of its governing bodies. The public and the citizen are involved as much as possible in the decision-making process.

Non EU Countries

Any nation that is not a part of the European Union is referred to as a non-EU nation (EU). A "third country" is the term used in the customs area to describe the non-EU nation.

Countries with no agreement. 

Non-EU citizens may be granted the right to work in an EU nation or the right to be treated equally with EU citizens in terms of working conditions. Both their own nationality and their status as family members of EU citizens affect these rights.
