The Harlem Renaissance was an influential movement of African-American art, literature, music, and theatre. The movement emerged after the First World War, and was active through the Great Depression of the 1930s until the start of the Second World War. Most of the artists associated with the movement lived and worked in the predominantly African-American neighbourhood Harlem in New York, which became a great cultural hub flourishing with creativity. The artists associated with the Harlem Renaissance aimed to take control over representations of their own people, instead of accepting the stereotypical depictions by white people. They asserted pride in black life and identity, and rebelled against inequality and discrimination.  

The baseball great is credited with over 700 home runs through out his career which spanned about 22 years. He began professional baseball play in 1914 and retired in 1935. On top of that, he was one of the first five inaugural members of the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1936."

They even made a movie, the sandlot, the sandlot  was about a bunch of boys paying baseball and then there was this big dog that everyone has heard about, big rumors and stories everyone believes and the dog but then the dog escapes and they have to get him back over the fence and they have to knock on  the door and excuse me if I'm wrong, I haven't watched it in a while. One of Babe Ruth's old teammates answers the door. overall they talk about Babe Ruth quite a bit in this movie they even star his "ghost" the one boy Scottie is such a big fan he thinks he sees his ghost and gives him advice and stuff.
