         <description><![CDATA[<div>Hook: Imagine being in a world where there is only one person controlling a large group of people. No one expect the master has a say in everything. This was how slavery was.<br>Background Information: Frederick Douglass, the author of the Narrative Of The Life of Frederick Douglass, used his own story and own personal experiences to show his own position to end slavery. By using his own story, it made it very unique and special.</div><div>Thesis Statement:  Along with the use of figurative language, Doulgass uses his story to reveal the effects of slavery on slaves and slaveowners,  which supports his position to end slavery.</div>]]></description>
