I chose this picture because it appears to show humans interacting in a environment of pine trees. To me, I understand these people are demonstrating conservation. Conservation is a way we can maintain retrieving resources from the planet but also keep from exhausting those resources by planting new trees.

It shows various diagrams with careful step by step explanations of the entire photosynthetic process.

Grasslands are the most endangered biome on the face of the planet. This is because they cover 8 percent of the world's surface and are experiencing years of urbanization for purposes of agricultural farming, forest plantation, over grazing, and energy and mining development. This results in the reduction of habitat, biodiversity, and desertification.

https://www.iucn.org/content/interview-temperate-grasslands-most-threatened-biome-world

I chose peppermint because most people feel that they do not wish to have bad breathe let alone smelling someone else's.

I chose this diagram because it provides the purpose and beginning of the Neolithic revolution. Here one can see people transitioned from hunter gatherers and nomadic lifestyles to a more advanced society through the use of technology and skill. This advancement includes tooling, controlling of fire, settlement in areas of rich resources for agricultural usage and domestication of animals. This diagram also provides a timeline of when the transition happened.

This picture represents my vision for the future of the world. Here one can see a gradual increase in urbanization will lead to more warming of the earth. More smog, less resources, and over population will contribute to the demise of the earth as we know it. I can tell first handedly that the growth within the metro Atlanta area among suburban neighborhoods is quite larger than what it used to be 20 years ago. Every time I turn my head, a new neighborhood or shopping center is being built while the trees a disappearing. Its forcing animals out of their homes and the pollution increases. It saddens me as I personally enjoy nature and everything it has to offer. If it weren't for my job, I would consider living more in the country like my relatives in Tennessee. The serenity that wildlife and plants offer is a gift given to us by our creator and we as a human race are destroying it. This is why I'm such a strong supporter of former President Teddy Roosevelt. He understood the importance of conservation and protecting wildlife and I thank him for creating National parks that are protect for wildlife to survive. I can't help but believe one day the protections of our forests will be lost with an ever increasing polarization in politics and urbanization.
