         <title>Client in 30s with T1DM, severe needle phobia &amp; anxiety. Due to the client&#39;s needle phobia they only injected their insulin in the upper left &amp; right quadrant of abdomen and caused lipos (lipohypertrophy - fat accumulation in subcut layer) - due to this the insulin was being inadequately absorbed into their bloodstream resulting in more insulin needing to be injected to receive a therapeutic effect. The patient was also not testing her ketones or BGL often enough due to their phobia.</title>
