Personal Reaction:
I was really surprised by this article because it takes place right where I live. It mentions several neighboring schools that are taking actions toward mental health, and it makes me very happy that my community is getting involved. You see things on the news all time, but you don't necessarily realize that these things are happening right in front of you. A remaining question that I have is whether or not my school is going to be a part of these efforts?

In addition, the example of two parents who overdosed in the front seat of their car with a 4 year old in the back seat makes the audience angry and upset that a child had to go through this.

Personal Reaction:
When I first began to read this article, I thought I would completely disagree with what they were saying, but I actually understand where they are coming from. Even after their lives have been saved, some of these people go right back to it and overdose again. In the article it mentions that police have had to revive one individual 20 times, which is kind of ridiculous. If it's starting to become a repeated cycle , then the person obviously doesn't want help. It also costs a lot of money to continuously revive these people. I have a family member who has a drug addiction and has attempted to overdose, so it's kind of hard for me to figure out my opinion on this.

Pink shares the story of her six year old daughter telling her that she feels ugly and looks like boy, and Pink made it very clear that no one should feel this way. Everyone is unique and beautiful in there own way and we should embrace. You don't have to change yourself for others. Just be your wonderful self!
