The mind map I created has expanded upon the ideas inside the universe of the books itself that I could focus on. Certain ideas such as focusing on aspects of specific characters such a Xelqua's eyes or the nephilim's runes. - I will be planning my video by doing initial sketches of the character designs I wish to include in the video. I will also have the synopsis developed for when I upload the video.

- My initial feelings currently regarding the video is that by buildings the world through the trailer it will make the audience seem like they already know the world.

- I need to finalise the character designs and figure out who I will add said designs into the video to make it functional.

- Writing Ideas for treatment (essentially brainstorming)

Treatment is the storyline.

- I intend to grab my audiences attention by creating a visually beautiful scene where, everything seems normal but the world around us is changing and we need to change with it. I want to create a the world of the downworld that is aesthetically pleasing and living in peace before the scene changes and war and danger is everywhere seen through darkening colour palette and a world which is no longer at peace.

Interest
- I am going to create a way to show that the shadowworld is like our own. By making the world seem the same it should catch the audiences attention and intrigue by seeing the aminated world around them change before hinting a truth within.

Desire
- The desire of Speak about emotions involved with the video, emotional tie and how it will be delivered

Action
- After viewing the video the audience members should feel intrigued to read the book further. by promoting the reading of the book at the end with a clear message, more people would join the intriguing world of the both the downworld and the shadowworld as a whole

The short film will showcase and promote the book 'The Warlock'

The film will start with a shot of new york before following behind a blonde figure who when he turns around his golden eyes will shine. the vision will fade then a modern church with spires comes into view and the voice over begins and everything begins to change along with the music becoming a deeper tone. The scene will then change to a battlefield, where the focus is on a fallen blade and a blue wisp of magic, everything then follows the wisp and snippets of runes and symbols fly across the screen. The lighting then fades and a the voiceover says something in indonesian before the book title appears on a freeze frame.

I chose the contrasting colours of gold and blue in particular because of their significance to the main character of the book Xelqua. The gold colours represent his eyes in particularly his warlock mark while the two blue colours represent the calm yet furious nature of his magic. Using this I intend to express the themes of fear, loss and wish to glamour the hidden world within our own.
