Similarly, Transformation depicts my personal journey of growth as a Christian towards the maturity stage, capturing the undergoing process of my relationship with Christ in a distracting society with oppression towards religion, providing appreciation towards insignificant events which crafted and coalesced my world perspective and purpose in the journey of life with the aim of inspiring others through storytelling. 

Light in the Darkness was my attempt to capture the unseen spiritual battles when I first heard of the Gospel, aiming to use colors as symbolization of good and evil, foreshadows the diminishing loss of identity present in me, which is apparent in the gradually illuminated dark earth. Reach Out represents the stage where faith towards Jesus started to build up, the reaching hand symbolizes a crucial transitional phase in my religious growth among the judgments of others as represented by the dark sky.  Faded was a response to the recent pandemic from a Christian’s perspective, inspired by Daria Callie, the use of subtle oil paint brush strokes acquires the ability to maintain firm faith despite the chaotic background with larger brush strokes which signifies the disturbing year of 2020. Risen uses imagery of Jesus’s Crown of Thorns to depict my appreciation towards Jesus for sacrificing Himself on the cross brutally, inspired by Jedrek’s resin works which preserve natural materials. Gaze up and Transform both have the same composition, the imitation of myself to the golden grizzly bear shows my desire to be crafted into a Christ like person despite the tragic events that occurred in the past. 

This series of chronologically presented realism artworks constructs a portion of my transformation journey in life similar to how they are arranged in a small corner within a large space. White framing of artworks is a realistic representation of the snapshot of my transformation like polaroid photos. The amount of details added in digital drawings along with the range of realistic skin colors painted on appropriate locations of proportioned figures after layers of refinement displays my technical competence. The diverse range of media used provides a holistic and enriching experience for audiences to make connections and be inspired by my process of growth on different personal levels, from different perspectives with contrasting interpretations similar to my 3-dimensional work which induces a unique engagement with the viewers from all angles.
