My set-up works by evaporating the dirty water in the big container to form water vapour and then condense on the Cling wrap. Then, the water droplets will drip down to the small container. Put the pebble inside the small container.

this is set up when we put the small container in the big container,drop the pebble inside the dirty water in the small container, the clean water will flow out of the small container and the dirty water will be left under the pebble in the small container and the cling wrap will filter the dirty part away.

The cling wrap is placed inside the big container with tiny holes to get the dirty bits out and then the pebble is at the bottom of the big container to filter out the water again and the small container collects the clean water as the big container has a small hole.

we could add more layers of cling wrap with the holes in each getting smaller and smaller and the hole at the bottom of the big. Container is bigger

The dirty water evaporates into water vapour. The water vapour will go through the pebble and condense into water droplets before being absorbed by the cling wrap. When the water in the cling wrap gets too heavy, it drops and falls into the small container as clean water.

Put ice cubes on the second level of the cling wrap to condense the water faster and turn into clean water droplets faster.

We can put the experiment set-up under direct sunlight. We can also place ice cubes on the cling wrap to faster the condensation of water vapour.

Our set up is to let the dirty water to evaporate into water vapor, when the water vapor comes into contact with the cooler surface of the cling wrap, it will lose heat and condense into tiny water droplets. This water droplets will roll down the cling wrap as the pebble on top the cling wrap is heavy and causes the cling wrap to go downwards. So, the water will slide down the cling wrap. It will precipitate when too heavy and then fall into the smaller container.

It works by as when water vapour come an into contact with the film, it condenses and forms water droplets. The pebble on top then acts as weight and the condensed water drops into the container.

Place the small container inside the big container, and place the pebble in the small container. Pour the dirty water into the small Container. The dirty water will evaporate and form water vapour then it will condense and form water droplets on the cling wrap. The water droplets on the cling wrap will then drip into the big container and that will be the clean water.

the dirty water goes into the big container, inside it the first layer is pebbles. It stops the bigger objects from going . In the second layer is the cling wrap, it stops the smaller objects from going past the cling wrap. There is also two holes which allow the water to flow through. But , smaller objects still might be able to pass through. So when this happens, it goes back to the oceanbut the process is repeated so that the small er objects have a small chance from going bacl into the ocean again. -Yan Yan
