I helped students to realize that the information they were getting about a current political issue was incorrect.

In the ELA department, we are in the informal process of sharing practices for limiting the use of cellphones in school specifically because of the exacerbating effects of misinformation, disinformation, and just profit-driven distractions. (Pfeffer)

I think more deeply about things I see online. The video of the mental health disorders really got me thinking about how much false information is out there even with a simple search on social medias. I usually hear my students talking about what they see on social media and I have been questioning their sources and it also gets them thinking if their information or real and they tend to debate with one another respectfully until they reach a conclusion
