"Auntie! Can I have a plate of chicken rice?" a hungry customer ordered his food with a loud voice. It was lunch hour and lots of people are buying chicken rice like me. The person in line just before my turn suddenly said "can I have the rest of your chicken rice?" the others in the que behind me shot daggers at him as I looked at him in disgust as it was inconsiderate of him. When it was my turn the auntie said "sorry ah, no more chicken rice liao." the people behind me grunted in frustration.

The people were angry and frustrated at what had happened.

My (POOR) hungry stomach had to starve until dinner time, I hope this incident will not happen again.

The hawker centre was filled with a sea of people, we could not find a single empty seat to sit on.

After a long while of searching, we noticed a family finishing their food.

The family stood up after finishing their food and they did not bother to clean up after themselves.

My face turned white with disgust.

I was horrified at the mess they made, there were dirty tissues, bowls cups and plates. I gently reminded them about it but they did not hear me.

He scolded me for being a busybody.

As my face started to flushed with embarrassment from all the chaos, I am helping them by reminding them and they scolded me for it.

Suddenly (3ds DUN DUN DUN) the law enforcer has appeared to save the day. The law enforcer issued the man a warning letter. and a fine of 500 dollars.

He (law enforcer) turned around and told me that what I did was right and that I should continue to remind others to clean up after they finish eating. (aw man.... the family could have saved 500 dollars.)

I was glad I took a stand to remind the family.

It definitely makes me proud to be of help to the law enforcer.

If given another chance, I would take it because it gives me the opportunity to help others and remind them to clean up after eating, Together we can make the world a better place.
