I still remembered when Dr Wan told us in the class what she is planning. She 1st said about an annual presentation of every microbiology student in UPM which i thought "Hmmm interesting"
and then Dr Wan said "with a twist" and starts explaining about for our presentation in Pecha Kucha style and then....
Dr Wan started saying about this collaboration with other universities.

I felt excited cause i never ever had done anything like this!

Of course i feel worried as well. but what made me feel "Everything will be aright" was when Dr Wan said she will guide us throughout the project.4

Then, we had conference between UM, UKM, UMT, UiTM and some universities abotut this project.
when i saw the students in the hall i was thinking "I wonder if they are all microbiology student" since i was informed that UMT does not have Microbiology course (one of my friend is at UMT)

Then after the conference
my friend from UKM whatsapp me and ask about the project. For that moment i felt that this isn't going to be easy.
especially the internet problem we faced haha.

If you want to know, the 1st anxiety i had for Virtual Microbe was actually waiting for all the members hahaha (and i meant it!)

Never had i open Trello so frequently on my whatsapp (I DOWNLOADED IT OKAY HAHA) just to see any updates from other universities.

During that week as well i was informed from Dr Wan that i will be representing Virtual Microbe 1 Group1 (which are all the 1st year in UPM Microbiology. ) with Dinesh. Ever since that day, my whatsapp notification doubled from my classmates asking questions hahaha.

Of course i do enjoy it cause i get to understand more about this program cause i have to answer their questions! (hehe)

It took almost 3 weeks for all the universities to enter with UM the last university to enter.

At least that relieves me.

To be honest...
The most and i mean MOST problems faced was not only internet connection but was to set a proper date and time for conducting video discussion.

I would always have problem when it comes to this huhu... especally we have to fulfills all demands from members such as before their sleeping time which is 10 pm or they have exams that week or camp.

The most stressed part was when nobody replies your whatsapp!

Since i was the rep for 1st year UPM , when i asked them how are they progressing, all my classmates be like
'SO STRESSFUL THEY WONT REPLY MY WHATSAPP"
or
"everyone is so busy hanna :( "

at least i know i'm not the only one facing these problems :')

There was one of the conversations i asked them when we could conduct and nobody was free.
I got so stressed i just feel like i want to sit and ask myself where did all my motivation go?

Thus i decided to have time for myself by spending my time with my family especially my mother C:

And yet Alhamdulillah in the end it was settle! (i do not know how , miracle i guess haha)

I did contacted Hidayah, the rep for UM and she informed us all along the way :)

And then when conducting video discussion,
there was some internet problem especially (in my group) was Yoges.

I do feel bad since not everyone is in the video discussion, however after all is done, i would call the one who went MIA (Missing In Action)
in the discussion and explains back.

And then for the 2nd week we had to conduct a flipping book of which i found it sooo neat and nice and pretty hahahaha so many words (hehe)

But i think it's already expired since i retrieved an email saying that my free trial is over.

It was a nice experience using these kinds of apps i never used before!

Last but not least,
i feel happy actually because we are coming to an end of this project.
of course deep inside myself i want this relationship between universities to be longlasting depsite whatever problems we have.
I'm grateful my members are not those who get pissed off easily.

Currently we are in progress of the video of our bacteria which is Wolbachia sp.

I am happy actually because I gained alot.

What i gained?

1. Don't question yourself if you can even handle something you are not fimiliar.
JUST DO IT

2. Optimistic, Presevere, Patient and Cooperation is indeed the elements for these project.

3. Don't do it out of force, try to do it because you wanted to or because you are PASSION for it.

4. There are ALWAYS a solution for EVERY problem. trust me. trust your team, ask for their opinion.

5. All work no play makes Jack a dull boy. there is nothing wrong in making humor and interacting with team members from other universities.

6. Always lend a hand.
i found out that from UM was 3rd year Law and 3rd year English. i was sooo shocked and they told me they took it just to fill in their credit hours.

7. Be open minded.

8. Simply, Rome does not build in a day.

Firstly, i want to be grateful to my religion and my God, Allah because without His guidance, i would probably be in UM because i feel bad for my parents to pay for fee (Since upm is abit expensive compared to Um).
I did istikharah between UM (ecology biodiversity) or UPM and i decided to choose what i craved for which is Microbiology.
And i did not regret it.

I would give my greatest gratitude as well for my family for supporting whatever i take even when my uncles or aunt start questioning future prospects (which annoys me abit haha) .

To Dr Wan Zuhainis, thanks a colony (ceh) because making the class so chaotic and being apart of our lives despite you are super duper busy.
Indeed you are one of a kind :)
i am grateful to have a lecterur like you,
Who would do everything in order we understands and apply in our lives.
I'm looking forward in exploring furthur in Microbe world <3
