What LGBTQ+ movements mean to us:

We care about this movement not only because we are a part of the community, But because it has and keeps impacting people's lives greatly. Our society is made in a way in which our social problems are interconnected, therefore most communities can benefit from this movement.

The movement has proven to be successful in the past. The fact that it is normalized to talk about this on a daily basis proves how far we have come with LGBTQ+ rights. The movement keeps on living by younger generations of queer people joining the movement and becoming activists for the community.

In our opinion, the community is on a good direction to success but the movement still has its flaws. Being a part of the community we have noticed that the community tends to focus on subjects that divide us from each other. We should focus on things that unite all of us and can actually help the movement move forward.

The LGBTQ+ movement has been around for a long time, and it continues to thrive to this day. The inclusion of queer people and culture in popular media has allowed the community to become more normalized and accepted within our society.
