My brother introduced me to him in high school and I listened to "10 Day" and especially "Acidrap" on repeat forever. When "Coloring Book" dropped as my senior year of high school ended, I felt like it was a graduation present and loved it. I saw him live during my first semester at college and he puts on an incredible show. Note that this was before his Trump phase and before his recent presidential campaign. I of course knew who he was before listening to his music, but during my senior year, "Life of Pablo" dropped and it was incredible. I listened to his entire discography and recognized "My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy" for the masterpiece that it is. I never really listened to him anything serious but when my friend showed me some of his recent singles that were soon to be released on an upcoming album (which ended up sucking) I was for it. I went through a phase where I listened to the Beck discography on repeat and no one and nothing else. We are both beatboxers in a Capella groups and are always looking for new music with fat beats for us to freestyle over while listening. The album "How to be a Human Being" has everything we could have asked for. They hold a special place in my heart becasue of how much my brother loves them and how their music helped me through a difficult time during my junior year where I was the only member of my family in New England. I felt very alone and isolated and listening to their songs helped me stay in the present. "Sgt. He is a modern day artist. "Because the Internet" is an incredible album but "Awaken My love" shows his range and musical prowess. He is a wonderful actor, funny comedian, and provocative musician. "Golden Hour" is a masterpiece. There is no other way to describe it. I was introduced to her by a friend of mine who pitched one of her songs to perform for our a Capella group. I thought the song was a real banger and she suggested I listened to the album. I do not regret the amount of time I have dedicated to this one album. First off, these are my favorite movies, so it makes sense that I would love the music.
