Because snakes live in different environments and  habitats, they must adapt to each environment to thrive and survive.

Camouflage  
is a pattern or the way the snake looks to help it to blend in to it's environment. Camouflage helps the snake to catch prey and to hide from predators. Some smaller snakes have patterns that mimic larger and more dangerous snakes.
