I was never a comic book reader but, this one I was actually hooked and paid much detail to. I feel like I have a deeper understanding of how it was like for the Jews. It was horrendous and brutal. Even the survivors don't feel like they have survived. Vladek had to take many medications after and was ill for many years after.
