Technological Unemployment:

- In this case, instead of employing workers, robots are used instead, causing unemployment.

With technology, workers are able to be more productive in doing their jobs as the machines can help quickly with the production so it is not time consuming. With this, firms are able to meet the demand of consumers if there is shortages of certain goods. 

Therefore, increase in productivity of workers will lead to an increase demand for labour so employment may rise.
