The first line of lyrics are, True friends stab you in the front, which means that if you have a true friend and they have an issue with you they say it to your face, not behind your back. The song also show fake friends, for example, you have a friends that have an issue with you, they don't say it to your face, but behind your back, that's where the lyric "you broke my heart there's nothing you can do come" in, basically that those lyrics detail the friends broken heart, that was broken by that untrustworthy friend.. The song by Bring Me The Horizon, True Friends, details the topic very well, and show why a true friend say to one.

How did reading or viewing the source the you understand the topic better?
How it help me understand my topic , is that the song describes what a true friend does if they have an issue with you. The song also details what happens when a friends talks behind your back instead of your face. The song helped me understand what a true friend does for another, by not hurting them and cause them to hate, but to tell them straight to their face and causing less conflict between friends.

How did the creator of the text get these ideas across to the reader or viewer?
How the singer, Oli Sykes, get theses ideas across to the reader is by, writing lyrics that hit hard to the listener. He also wrote lyrics that people can relate to and he write the lyrics to the people that have had the similar thing that happen, that the song details. He also gets people attention with the first line of lyrics, and when he sings the song he sings it slowly and softly, till the chorus hits, the he yells it.

How does the source relate to your topic?
This poem relates to my topic by showing what a true friend is. For example the last line in the third stanza states, "those little secrets we don't have to hide", this and this show that there shouldn't be any secrets between true friends. Another example is the line, 'be honest and true", is show that true friend should always be true and tell the truth between each other no matter what.

How did reading or viewing the source help you understand your topic better.
The poem helped me understand my topic better by, detailing what a true friend really is and no matter what or how much it hurts that you should be honest with your true friends. The poem describes how a true friend will always instill trust and loyalty in one other by being able to tell the truth and may other elements that make up about a being a true friend or having a true friend.

How did the creator of the text get these ideas across to the reader or viewer?
The author wrote a poem talking about what a true friend is, and how she across to the reader is by using word choice and word that effect people that get to them in emotional way. She uses these words to get to the reader by writing word that describe what a true friend is and people can relate to them too.

http://www.indiacelebrating.com/speech/friendship-speech/ Speech #2

How does the source relate to your topic?
How does this speech relate to the topic, is that is talks about no matter what a true friend will always stay true, and will always be there for you, no matter the schedule. The second paragraph of the selection talks about what a true friend does for you, no matter what the issue ,and they will always help you no matter what. The selection showed that a true friend will be there to guide you out of the dark, and place you in the light.

How did reading the selection help you understand it better.
Reading the speech showed me that no matter what the issue is, a true friend will always be there to comfort you. A true friend will stay true to me and that i'll never forget that person, and they are the one to help me through issue that i may have. The final thing is, i can help my friends through any issue no matter how ridiculous it is or serious the issue may be.
How did the creator of the text get these ideas across to the reader or viewer?
The author got the message by describing what a true friend does and what it means to have one. How the author does that is by using words that cause emotion, for example, "A good friend is one whom we can share every small and big happiness, secrets and problems of life without any hesitation", this statement from the speech has an emotional part to it.
