This is played very much like the traditional board game. Each team has a game grid (minimum 4x4), sphero and ipad. Each team marks on a paper where their boat is on the grid keeping it secret from the other team. Each team takes turns launching their sphero towards their opponents grid, keeping track of hits and misses. First team to sink their opponents "boat" wins.

Students LOVE to create with these - and, my bad, the first set of batteries were DEAD so the student drew the conclusion that the Snap Circuit didn't work - not realizing that the issue was the batteries. I used a noodle with with ridges and a regular one and cut 1/2 " slices.  it was easy to cut. I cut a few in half and put them out with colored toothpicks. The "wheels" came from the ends of the big rolls of paper in Production, the smaller cups came from the snack cups given out by the cafeteria, and the yogurt containers came from what I eat!
