Facilitation to enhance effective communication around a student's inclusive education is provided by a Communication Support Associate for the entire team, family and school together. The project is in its third year and going strong. Feedback from this project has confirmed that improving communication between schools and families has a direct impact on increasing the quality of inclusive education. For the first time in his life, an educator was able to successfully assess his literacy skills, and did this despite being completely online! Our grade 1 teacher and the team that surrounds her have went above and beyond for one of our students. From working with our K teacher to come up with play based ideas to match curriculum outcomes to making a fun filled sensory room for him to explore and grow and learn! They are attending PD, holding extra meetings, and thinking outside the box for ways to have this student be included, excited, and eventually be able to be with his peers more often. 
Everyday, they work tirelessly and collaboratively to meet his needs. It is always about him and never about them. 
The days of a teacher can be long, lonely, and draining but this team makes it fun and energizing. They make it promising. They make it inclusive. 
So, THANK YOU! Thank you to this team and all of the staff at William Grayson that come in everyday trying their best to do what is best for our students and their families.
