My Object Decision

I chose this object because it was the first console I ever bought with my own money. It has been a big part of my life, especially during the pandemic, when it helped me grow and connect with others. Through it, I made so many friends, and this controller has been with me through every stage of my teenage years.

This is the second angle of my object, and it felt very unique and special to me, which is why I chose to stick with it.

I chose this angle because it highlights the unique form of the object.l Although this is not my strongest sketch, as drawing is not my greatest skill, I dedicated significant effort to complete it to the best of my ability. I view this work as a reflection of my perseverance and commitment to improving my artistic skills

Creating this sketch required a lot of effort, especially since I was using a mouse and navigating Illustrator for the first time. At the beginning, I struggled a great deal, as I had never used the software before. Through this process, I learned how to use the Pen Tool to create precise paths and shapes, and the Smoothing Tool to refine my lines and make them look cleaner. Despite the challenges, I persevered and gradually became more confident with these tools. Completing this piece gave me a strong sense of pride and accomplishment, as I could see the results of my hard work and the new skills I had gained.

When creating the second-angle sketch, I found the process much easier and it took less time and effort compared to the first. Having completed the first angle through a lot of trial and error, I had already improved my skills with Illustrator. I was more confident using the Pen Tool and Smoothing Tool, which allowed me to work more efficiently and produce cleaner lines. I also experimented with adding highlights, which helped bring depth and dimension to my sketch, making it look more realistic and visually appealing. This experience showed me how practice, persistence, and attention to detail can significantly enhance my digital drawing abilities
