Martial Law is supposed to be a last resort option, a kind of act of desperation. With the exemption of Marcos, who used it to remain in power for many, many more years.

I believe that President Duterte is blowing things out of proportion. First the whole killing spree, where he killed the drug lords, distributors and addicts. And now he's planning to affect the entire country with a military run government.

This news affected my deeply in a personal level as well. I may not have been there. I may not have experienced Martial Law first hand. However, when listening to the way people describe it, I cannot help but feel this cloud of negative emotions intensifying in my heart.

I feel annoyed when I hear the stories of currupt politics.

I feel angry when I hear about the "necessary" precautions and sacrifices made.

And I feel sad when I hear about all the loss people faced. All the agonizing moments. There are over 100,000 episodes of anime to watch. But this anime is definitely something else.

Season 1 came out last year and was a big hit. Many people across the globe fell in love with this anime. And not too long after the last episode of the 1st season was released, a trailer came up to advertise the next season.

Season 2 is currently on episode 13 of 25 and rated #256 on Popularity and #36 on the Overall rating in MyAniList. Which is extremely high, considering the fact that there are only 13 episodes, one coming out every 5 to 6 days. 

I watch a lot of anime. So, obviously, I have a lot of regrets and hours of my life I want back. But this anime taught me so many things that I found to be extremely useful. President Donald Trump, might be dismissed from his position as the leader of the United States of America.

I was honestly very relieved to hear this and, though I know that this is just an idea, I cannot help but feel hopeful. Trump, so far, has been a political nuisance who is extremely and openly sexist. His tweets make me sick. Many people were devastated by him being President, people like Miley Cyrus and my own mother, who isn't even American. I would really love to see him out of office sooner than I thought.

Until this news came up, how I felt about him became blurred because if it wasn't, I would probably be constantly saltly and bitter. I felt numb with every new event related to his stupidity. 

But now I am rooting for America again.
