I have been married for 26 years to my husband, Steve. We have three children-Daniel, David and Sara. Daniel is a student at Baylor University and will graduate in May with an Electrical Engineering Degree. David is a sophomore at the University of North Texas and wants to be a High School History Teacher. Sara is an eighth grader at Heritage Middle School, and is involved in Art, Theatre, and Cheerleading.
I have spent most of my years teaching 2nd grade and have been team lead since 2013. I love 2nd grade students and want to see them all succeed!
Since I have been at Hurst Hills,  in 2013-2014, I was awarded the Continuous Improvement Quality Learning Demonstration Classroom. The district recognized me for using the systems approach to learning, and promoting excellence with student achievement. In 2016, I was recognized again by the district for demonstrating the Advanced Level CI Classroom by implementing Continuous Improvement resulting in the highest levels of student success in the classroom. I am very honored to receive these recognitions and hope that you will witness only the highest levels of success in my classroom with your child.
