Egyptians had a system of writing called "hieroglyphs" where they often carved or painted symbols to create artwork. In 1799 the Rosetta Stone was discovered and this made it possible for the hieroglyphs to be deciphered. This way we could understand what they were saying and have a greater appreciation for their work

3.1 Mechanisms:
-I chose the Rosetta Stone discovery picture because it is important to know how we were able to know what the Egyptians were saying. They spoke using hieroglyphs and since we can now decipher them, we can learn about their history and culture
-If you walked up to a gallery and saw the "Draw your Name in Hieroglyphs" I think it would attract more people, especially little kids, to come look at your art
-Also, if music from the Egyptian times is playing in the background, it can also attract more people to the exhibit and help teach the people of the culture

3.3 Mechanisms:
-The Lotus Flower was to represent the lotus flower that is in the carving. You can only see the flower in the art piece a little bit, so I thought it was important to have a separate picture of a lotus flower to show what it resembled in the Indian culture.
-I chose to have a "color your own Bodhisattva" to not only attract visitors to the exhibit but also to show how greatly they were worshipped. They had very colorful crowns, necklaces and robes so coloring a picture would show how important they were
-The last mechanism I used for this piece of art was a separate art show so visitors can better understand the Buddha ways. The slide show tells stories of the way that the Buddhists lived

3.4 Mechanisms:
-"Make your own teepee" is a fun way to learn how the American Indians lived when they were traveling and hunting. There can be a mini competition that states "Who can make the best teepee" and kids and even parents can fold their best teepee while visiting the exhibit.
-Native American music is a huge part of their culture so I knew I had to add some music that could be playing as people walk through and look at all the art
-Next, is a short article to learn about how the Plains Indians lived. Most people have a small idea of how they lived, but their culture is clearly stated and showed here.

3.5 Mechanisms:
-Easter Island is known for the enormous Moai figures so there is a quick video of how you can make your own wooden figure for your home to decorate. The carved sculptures represent a lot to the Easter Island people so I knew it was important to learn about these significant sculptures.
-Some may have heard that there is a huge mystery behind Easter Island and the people who lived there so there is an article that explains the mystery and conspiracies.
-Since it is an Island, I thought it was important to add their food and how they accessed it. As you may think, a lot of the food is fish based and is accessed by fishing and hunting in the waters.
