1. Vietnam (like Korea) was once split into Communist north and Not-Communist south.
2. Unlike Korea it is 1 nation nowadays
3. The war was possibly the first war with live TV coverage
4. The war was just about 100% in Vietnam
5. The war started off with South vs North, until the USA stepped in to help the quickly declining south
6. The most deadly enemies were the Viet Cong during this war due to their secrecy and guerilla warfare
7. Guerilla warfare did not involve actual Gorillas, although we all wish it did
8. The USA was basically defeated as they evacuated Vietnam, taking as many southern refugees as they could
9. The North eventually won the war and converted all of Vietnam into a communist nation
10. there is little to no tension between USA and Vietnam nowadays
