Week 1

I am not good at IELTS Listening but this week's lesson was quite fun and I enjoyed all the tasks in class a lot. The Listening was not too hard for me to complete. I also learnt some tips for multiple choice questions and avoiding distractions during the section.

Week 2 - MY HOMETOWN

My hometown is in Binh Duong - where people can find not only the bustle atmosphere but also peaceful sceneries to relax. Where my grandparents live is located far from the heart of the province so the surroundings tend to be cozier and more quiet. The older I get the more I realize that my hometown is such a great place to escape and relieve all the stressful moments in life. I can spend all day lying in the hammock observing the garden or enjoying the sounds from birds and insects. Sometimes when it starts to get bored, my cousins would not mind to take me to Thu Dau Mot where I can find the fast pace of city life and the vibrant views. All in all, I love my hometown so much.

Week 3 - INTERESTING NEWS STORY

I rarely read news but while scrolling on my phone, some pages on social media tend to post hot topic to gain more interaction. Those news never attract me except the time I came across an article about one of my favorite celebritites - Kim Jisoo. At that time, she was the last member of Blackpink to create their own Youtube accounts and it is touching to know that all of the profit from her videos would be donated for various charities. That made me feel happy a lot.

Week 4

This week's lesson was fun. Mr. Khai taught us useful language for map labelling. This was also the first time I had to stand in front of everyone in class and describe the directions which I was really bad at. It was nerve-wracking! However, I found it helpful for me to improve my weeknesses!

Week 5

It came as a surprise that T-Bảo came to teach us this week. I found the lesson really useful as there were many tips for Speaking part 2 which helped me to expand my ideas and manage to gain the proper pace and length of my speech.

Week 6 - IDEAL UNIVERSITY

My life is filled with passion of art. I love drawing since I was a kid. My house's walls in the past were full of my paintings. That's why I choose to attach with it even when I grow older. My dream university is UAH (University of Architecture Ho Chi Minh city). Students from this schools tend to be talented people with various vision about artistic profession and other fields. Besides, Architecture requires the specialized knowledge between art and culture. I would love to acquire different skills and gain more insight into these aspects of life, so UAH is an ideal university for me to begin this journey!

Week 7 - FREE TACO

Once upon a time, there was a young boy who spent nearly half a day to get to a deserted island where he can escape the bustle pace of city life for just a while. Without any mindful preparation, he thought that this trip would be full of peaceful moments. However, there was no food or drink on such a small dry island as he had expected. He then struggled with starvation and thirst. Suddenly, the boy spotted a glass bottle with a piece of paper floating towards him. It turned out that the paper was a free taco voucher when he opened the bottle. But it was only available in that day. He loves taco so much but it is hopeless to returned back to the city in time with his condition. How tragic. The boy then broke down. He got no chance to enjoy the taco. Since then, he never plan of leaving the city again.
