Sarah, a woman from Maine, responds to the ad. She visits Jacob's farm to see if she can make it her new home, leaving behind her coastal life. As the story unfolds, Sarah forms bonds with Jacob's children, Anna and Caleb, and they with her. Some literary elements I found was the theme being based off family, love, and loss. Character development of each character undergoes growth and transformation throughout the story as well.

He goes off to this camp for these kids that aren't normal and finds out he's in danger. Realizes that he stole the lightning bolt that the gods were missing. He makes his way on this adventure with his friends Grover and Kim both come from the other gods in which makes it even more interesting. Overall, the theme would be that he found his identity on this adventure leading him to become confident in the rest of the story.
