Understanding other cultures and their foods is a big deal because culture is a part of our identity. So reading about it helps to know more about how people live and what they enjoy. If I have students from different place, these books might talk about foods that are important to my students, which can make them feel special and like they belong.

As a teacher, I aspire to be the starting point for my students' love of reading. I want them to view books as an exciting adventure. Growing up, I thought reading was boring and felt like too much mental effort. However, upon returning to reading and discovering the diverse array of books, I realized how I could find myself within a story and how a book could offer comfort by understanding my emotions or situations.

I hope to create and cultivate a fun and unique library for my students that will evoke the same feelings in them.

I aim for the library to be organized, making it easy to find and return books. It should also provide a comfortable environment, avoiding the feeling of doing a worksheet. Therefore, there will be either a couch or a carpet with lots of pillows. Most importantly, I want my students to feel a sense of belonging and excitement every time they visit the classroom library.
