I'm really excited and looking forward to exchanging letters with my French friend this time.

France has been a country I've always wanted to visit. I heard that there are so many wonderful architecture, art, and delicious food!

I'm currently in my second year of high school, and I'm at school from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. every day. Korean high school students study a lot to prepare for entrance exams. I'm tired, too, but I'm working hard. I wonder how your day is going in your French school! Tell me what time you start and finish, and what other subjects you're learning.

My hobbies are listening to music and playing games. Especially these days, I enjoy playing a mobile game called Brawl Stars. And on weekends, I like to go to a cafe to chat or read books with my friends. Do you have any hobbies? Do you have any favorite singers or movies?

Bonjour à tous ! Je m'appelle Song Yechan, je suis coréen et je suis très heureux d'avoir l'occasion de vous écrire cette lettre.

Le 23 mai, nous allons nous rencontrer en Zoom, et j’attends ce jour avec beaucoup d’impatience. C’est une chance unique pour moi de pouvoir parler avec des élèves français et de découvrir votre culture, votre mode de vie, et même votre école. J’espère aussi que vous serez curieux d’en savoir plus sur la Corée, notre langue, notre nourriture et nos traditions. Je ferai de mon mieux pour répondre à vos questions !

En ce moment, j’apprends le français à l’école. Ce n’est pas toujours facile, mais je trouve cette langue très belle et intéressante. J’aimerais beaucoup améliorer mon niveau et pouvoir discuter avec vous plus librement. Peut-être que vous pourrez aussi m’aider avec quelques conseils !
