I really enjoyed using this book to teach figurative language. There is imagery throughout the whole story. Very fun and whimsical.

My third favorite book is the Percy Jackson series, written by Rick Riordon. Percy Jackson is a book series about the son of Poseidon who is battling monsters that Hades has sent to kill him. A few minutes later the evil Skywing queen kidnapped them and puts them in her arena. Will they survive or will they die just like any other dragon? After this it's an action packed journey on Paul and Maureen raising Phantom and Misty . The reason why I liked this books was that there was a lot of action. It was actually very interesting and exciting even though I thought I wouldn't like it. I didn't' plan on reading it but It was very interesting and a lot of mixed emotions.

My favorite book is Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, from the famous Harry Potter series. I won´t give away any spoilers for those who haven´t read the book, but it´s an amazing ending for all the adventures leading up to the grand finale. In the final duel between Harry and Lord Voldemort, secrets are uncovered, dark pasts are made known, and memories best kept in the dark are suddenly revealed. J.K. Rowling does such an amazing job of creating this whole other world, every detail seemed perfectly real. The highest of recommendations ^o^

Diary of a Wimpy kid is written by Jeff Kinney If you are looking for a funny and short read, read Diary of a wimpy kid it has plot twist and a funny story line at one point in this story it gets so funny I almost cried. With an annoying older and younger brother what will Greg do to survive.  
Booked is written by Kwame Alexander this book is great read and has an interesting lot like this Nick Hall´s Parents are divorced and will Nick continue to follow his dreams.
Fever is written by Laurie Halse Anderson  Everything is fine until a huge fever breaks out and almost wipes out all of Philadelphia. I enjoy how this story is based of real life an tells a story that actually happened

The book is about these 2 siblings that live in a world of dragons. They get kidnapped by evil dragons and their locks. They then have to fight their way out and escape. I would recommend this book to people that like interesting fantasy books.

Brandon Mull
This book is about 4 kids who lock with the four fallen great beasts. An old evil comes back and these kids with the help of their spirit animals have to fight it and win, or the world will be destroyed. I would recommend this because it is a good book and has a good plot.
Book 3
Wings of Fire #3
This book is about how Glory goes to her home in the rain forest with her friends. There they discover that Rain Wings are mysteriously disappearing and Glory soon becomes one of them. On an island Glory figures out who is taking Rain Wings. She then escapes the island with one of the other Rain Wings that got captured. She then plans to stop the kidnappers. I would recommend this because it is a interesting and fun book to read.

But, when her mother gets better, she might not be able to choose where she goes. If you do read it I recommend reading the books in order but I pick Al Capone Throws Me A Curve because it's my favorite. Also It is the last book in the series. Alcatraz at the time was one of the most dangerous criminals in the world like Bird-man, Al Capone, and Machine gun Kelly. Alcatraz is located in California. A reason why I enjoy this book is because It has some baseball in it and I love baseball. Also Alcatraz is a very interesting topic to me. I have also been to Alcatraz before. It was written by Carl Hiaason. The book hoot was about a young boy in around 6th grade named Roy. He is a new kid in the school and gets picked on by the bully Dana Matherson. Roy sees a running boy with no shoes and no backpack and he didn't recognize him nor was he trying to catch the school bus, this makes Roy curious and Roy stops at nothing to find out who the boy is. The main part of the book comes later. Mother Paula's All American Pancake House is being built on the homes of the endangered burrowing owls. There is a vandal who manages never to be seen, their main goal is to stop Mother Paula's construction. Roy finds himself tangled in a mess of crime on both sides. He is a curious person who wants to know why the vandal is doing this, and what they have to gain. Roy also wonders if it is somehow tied to the running boy he saw. So he has to find out. I liked this book for a number of reasons. The main reason is that in the end almost everything worked out. It was written by Rick Roirdan  My favorite was probably the fourth one called Battle of the Labyrinth. It was good beginning to end, and had many good character additions. The Labyrinth was where most of the book took place. It was interesting to see how all of the characters interacted and what would happen to Percy, Grover, Annabeth, and Rachael.
