On one road in my area known as the Labadi polyclinic road, many restaurants have found their dwelling place in a building there.....and all have failed.However, a new restaurant opened a few weeks ago and since its opening, business booms ever single day. There are peak days, but if you were to step there on an average day, you would find the place at least half full so i asked myself,- what are they doing differently? In Ghana,most people eat food from wayside street hawkers selling food that is cheap but of poor quality and usually made under poor and unhygienic conditions. Because of this, the rate of cholera in Ghana is  high and thanks to education, more people are looking out for food which is affordable but of better quality. Due to the high cost of living as well, most people who even have televisions cannot afford cable or dstv and thus are unable to watch many programs especially live football, which many Ghanaians love.In my neighborhood, there are no playgrounds where kids can play safely, observed by adults to ensure their safety. Marwakko took these avenues and used them to create a restaurant with affordable and hygienic food as well as free dstv so patrons can watch programs especially football during the football seasons such as the premier league, world cup,etc and of course,a play area where kids can play and have fun while being observed by caretakers to ensure their safety. These opportunities have opened doors for this restaurant such that now they have many branches- the newest being in my locality. Their staff is well trained and made up of young people in the locality who would have been otherwise unemployed. The place has become more of a homely hangout where family can meet and share. It has become a great social centre.The ambience is great and the place is partitioned into two. One part for the Football lovers and another for people that just want to have a great night out. The management is very friendly. The company also has an App and delivery service for fast and prompt delivery of food.
