Digital tools:

Advantages: improved ommunication globally, anywhere anytime, increased productivity, cloud saving

Disadvantages: privacy breach if not managed, lack direct connection, dependent on technology -> if the technology shut downs the work would be disrupted

Non-digital tools

Advantages: Reduce distractions, increase teambuilding, enhance creativity, more secured
Disadvantages: limited accessibility for remote working, only for small teams

Collaborative environments can come in many forms, both physical and virtual:

Physical collaborative environments: co-working spaces, office spaces. university labs, etc

Social: An online community where people with similar interests work on a shared objective (Messenger, Facebook, Discord)
