I think I worked well by using different colors/patterns. Also, matching the color tone with the picture. It makes the work feel balance.   • Judy Chicago 
"Domes" (1968) was one of her most popular pieces. The shapes of the domes were in a rounded shape and the complementary forms suggested femininity. This piece became Chicago's "signature style motif".
2) What is the issue you are highlighting and why did you create the artwork in this manner? 
 I was portraying the issue of injustice. The main idea shown in the picture was to treat others how you want to be treated and to love them. I created the artwork in this manner to show that there are many people who needs help from others.

The art movement I focused on was Romanticism. 
What did you think worked well and what aspects do you feel need improvement?
I think I did a good job using oil pastel to mimic Joseph Mallord William Turners style. He was regarded as the “painter of light” and I showed this aspect through utilizing a white oil pastel on the mountains and sky. Turner focused on landscapes, natural catastrophes and natural phenomena such as sunlight and rain and I selected a national geographic picture that was of the mountains. I could have used paint or a different material to depict the background or mountains. I think I worked well with the use of vibrant colors like blue, green, yellow, and brown. I didn't make the background just plain blue, but I added some clouds to "help" the plain look and help make it look presentable. Some improvements that I need for this sketchbook is the idea of the drawing. I think I did a good job using bright colors and capturing the homie and comfortable personality of my home. I tried to use short strokes to create texture in my painting and add little patterns around the house. I think I could have used some more techniques to make certain aspects of the house stand out more and I could have made it a little neater.
