Michael Jackson's lyric inspires the most change. In his song he say's "'Cause they got no place to be.That's why I'm starting with me. I'm starting with the man in the mirror. I'm asking him to change his ways. And no message could have been any clearer. If you want to make the world a better place. Take a look at yourself, and then make a change." The evidence supports my claim by bringing in the iterary device: "pathos" trying to feel emotion for the world not being right for people who really needs it and wanting to make a change worldwide. Therefore, Michael Joseph Jackson is a social justice oriented citizen because he wants positive change for his self, new generations, and old generations to protect the world from our dispirited past.

John Lennon's lyric Imagine inspires the most change. In the song it says, "Imagine all the people living life in peace, You may say I'm a dreamer But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us And the world will be as one". The evidence supports my claim because it shows how John Lennon says imagine all the people living in peace and he is hoping that the world can be as one. So therefore John Lennon is a social-justice-oriented citizen because he wants the world to be as one and that he wants to forget what has happened in the past.

Childish Gambino's lyrics best represents activism. The evidence I chose from his lyrics are:

"Grandma told me
Get your money, black man (get your money)
Get your money, black man (get your money)
Get your money, black man (get your, black man)
Get your money, black man (get your, black man)
Black man
This is America (woo, ayy)
Don't catch you slippin' now (woo, woo, don't catch you slippin', now)
Don't catch you slippin' now (ayy, woah)
Look what I'm whippin' now (Slime!)
This is America (yeah, yeah)
Don't catch you slippin' now (woah, ayy)
Don't catch you slippin' now (ayy, woo)
Look what I'm whippin' now (ayy)."

In the lyrics he talks about how black men should work, it's stereotyped that black men do anything but that, and he's explaining that his grandma wants him to work hard, and get payed, especially as a black man. The other verse speaks deeply about past racism, of Jim Crow laws, and he say's "don't catch you slippin'" because if you're out of place as a black person you're quickly unaccepted, and judged.
