This website (https://mrnussbaum.com/united-kingdom-interactive-map) provides children with accessible information about a country with a map attached that allows children to click on areas of the country maps to find out more about different places (cities, landmarks) within the countries, as well as some of the geographical features there too (eg, Ben Nevis, the River Thames and Stonehenge on the UK map). There are also quizzes and additional resources they can use to test their knowledge once they've studied a place.

Another useful website could be (http://ttqevents.co.uk/) which has a range of free treasure trails for different places in the UK. They include directions and link to Google Street View with still pictures on the website taken from here so children can either use the trails online, the photos could be printed out and placed around the classroom or outside space if choosing to do this outdoors by teachers for children to actively work their way around or teachers could just use the directions and clues to take children to the places in person.

National Geographic Kids acts as a valuable source for primary ages children with their geography studies. Within regards to the national curriculum, this site gives children the opportunity to explore the UK and beyond through their interactable content. The site offers children the ability to click on geography squares that then allow them to learn about the square they picked on, for example, 'What's it like to go to school in St Lucia?' and 'Canada Facts.' This lets kids tap into three main elements of the National Curriculum Place Knowledge, Location Knowledge and Human and Physical Geography. As this is national geographic kids, I can presume that the site is specifically designed to be consumed by, and interacted with, children. Therefore, its reasonable to suggest that the site will be appropriate for children given that it is made for kids. The site is very navigable, with a search function at the top of the page, and tabs built for specific subjects. This site, I believe, can help pupils with an enquiry based approach to geography given the information they provide and the way in which they present it.

It is very easy to navigate with a menu style list and is split into categories of the continents. It should be very useful for enquiry based approaches because it’ll help them learn the location of different places and there is also different accessibility for ability e.g easy, hard and capitals.
