  • "For the lemon curd, put the butter, sugar, lemon zest and juice into a bowl set over a saucepan of simmering water (ensure the bowl does not touch the water). Stir occasionally until the sugar is dissolved."
    • Heres where the problems start! What size saucepan, who knows? STIR OCCASIONALLY?  How often is the baker suppose to stir ? Here, the author is being vague. This Language problem makes it hard for the reader to understand what to do.

    How confusing? Still aimlessly stirring. "Until the mixture thickens." Until how thick ? The author, being vague using non-specific words. If the author was more specific the reader would be able to understand.
