         <description><![CDATA[<div>in 1836 there was over 10,000 people it was described as a model community composed of small wooden houses painted white with green binds very neat very snug and very nicely corpeted. the lowell girls worked for years in the mills and lived in the company built boarding houses. they were buildings with shared bedrooms and a kitchen.</div>]]></description>
