The openness of the building stood out the most there are few closed spaces, which makes it easy to see what others are doing. i was surprised by how calm and quiet it felt despite being full of people.

As I walked around I noticed pictures of original Texas A&M campus in the US posted around the walls here, signed by a small barcode in the bottom with the Texas A&M logo. This was one of the things I hadn't really noticed before, and the starking difference between the greenery here compared to the main campus was quite ironic. The smell of coffee and waffles was very apparent near the cafe which was likely enhanced due to the fact that i haven't had breakfast yet. People talking, study room doors closing, and ping pong balls bouncing were the main sounds I was able to hear. There were hints of blue from the HBKU "takeover" all around campus, from the HBKU backdrop right near the entrance to the HBKU cushions.

just outside the campus you can hear the gentle sound of flowing water which creates a calming atmosphere that blends in with the busy movement of students passing by

We noticed an outdoor gathering place where we found a lantern that made us feel like were on the street.

Also a particular thing we noticed is a no smoking sign which provides a sense of a safe environment especially for students.

There is a water fountain sound , water droplets, giving a calming effect.

As I was walking through the building, I noticed things that I usually ignore. There are pictures everywhere and inspiring quotes on the walls. I could hear a bit of noise, probably from students, but there wasn’t much movement. Nothing really surprised me because the building has a similar design . Overall, I felt a small sense of belonging.

The space felt both focused and comfortable, like a place meant for serious work but also for comfortability. The design gives off a professional, almost futuristic vibe from the wall engravings that matches the engineering culture.

This is the architecture of the university from above. It has a maze like design on this picture to reprent the building because it is a maze. The colour of the building is monochromatic of maroon and white that matches the logo of texas A and M.

There is a silent sound because most of them are in the classes.

Smell: perfume from certain people, food

See: students coming into the university, sitting down and studying or lounging, some leaving, Arabic writing on the walls, contrast between the beige patterned floors and white solid walls

Feel: neutral

Notice: the transparent door that comes after the large door, seems like an unnecessary addition after such a large and protective statement piece from the brown door, students not taking the shorter way through the center but rather walking around the hallways.

I noticed how peaceful the courtyard felt. The warm red color of the walls and the sound of water flowing from the small fountain created a calm, almost soothing atmosphere.The space was quiet and open, with only a few people around. The trees added a touch of life and softness to the structured design of the building. The reflection of the walls in the water gave the courtyard a sense of depth and balance.

warm tones everywhere you go, brings a sense of peace and warmth
This space evokes a sense of community in students and professors alike; it encourages you to focus on your work and studies effectively, and also socializing with your pears, which you will notice with the multiple seating arrangement close together.
the space clearly prioritizes community and education— as can be seen in the university logo all over the place, and study rooms for students. Arabic calligraphy and Islamic writing is also important here, you can see that in the writing engraved on the walls.

What stood out to me was how clear the stairway sign was. It only used a simple image, but it easily showed the direction and purpose. I was a bit surprised that something so basic could communicate so much. The space felt calm and organized. The clean design and maroon color made it feel professional and matched the quiet atmosphere of the building.

I noticed much more noise towards the exit/entrance of the building rather than the hallways with seating.

I saw lots more motivational and reassuring signs and posters than I normally do.

I also noticed a showcase of the buildings facilities and of other education city building that are accessible to students.

As well as collections of artifacts and awards pertaining to each area of study.

The student lounge is a very socially engaging place with comforting lightning which makes the atmosphere peaceful for studying and having fun with friends.
