The flyer will also state reasons to why the group is being formed with counselors contact information. Most importantly the counselor will get referrals from teachers for students who are not participating and not connecting will the class. Counselor will look at online class productivity as one determining factor. With social connection being part of the goals of this small group zoom interviews will be held to determine who will benefit from the small group. In the zoom interview students will have a chance to ask questions after hearing the introduction of the small group.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The small groups will range from kindergarteners through 5th graders. <br>Each group will stay within their own grade level. Groups sizes will range from 4-6 students.<br>Stage 1 the group will work on getting to know one another. First confidentiality will be stated with emphasis on removal from the group if it is broken by other students. Games will be played to help with relationship building along with ice breaker questions. <br>Stage 2 Students will have chances to share progress or activities they are working to encourage each other to keep going. Theses shares will also help the counselor check in on progress with the groups.<br>Stage 3 There will be an exit survey to measure students feelings about continuing online learning without the small group. </div>]]></description>

This group's focus is on class participation and having online students feel connected to the school. The counselor will participate in group activities with the students. This will encourage students to become more involved and give students an idea of what is expected. Students output with be of higher quality.
