The rabbis of the (old school), as was noted earlier, were ill-equipped to deal with the crisis. Hirsch came to the conclusion that to prevent the disappearance of Judaism as a way of life and thought, it was crucial to present the eternal teachings of Judaism in a new form. 
Hirsch was on  his way to create and expand his thoughts on Neo Orthodox Judaism through his new school.
