At the age of fourteen, with the outbreak of the Bosnian War (1992-1995), which opposed Serbs and Bosnians, he was forced to take up arms, as a "child soldier", taken by his father to the positions of attack, between the troops who, from the mountains, surrounded Sarajevo. Admitted in the course of Chemical Food Engineering, little studied, having relationship difficulties, possibly due to post-traumatic stress. When her sister arrived in Lisbon, assisted by a friend who had married a Portuguese serviceman who had served in Bosnia, Stanisic arrived in Portugal on August 31, 1997, stole the check book from her sister, acquired a Fiat Tipo and made to the road to know the country. Back, he apologized to his sister for the theft, and went into a kitchen. After some time, he approached "chef" Vítor Sobral and in 2003 he was working as a "subchef" in the restaurant Fortaleza do Guincho, where he would aggressively attack "chef" Marc Le Ouedec for the practice of racism.

Anyone who knows Ljubomir Stanisic knows that a croquette is not just a croquette. The chef of 100 Maneiras and Bistro 100 Maneiras, in Lisbon, manages to combine chaos and harmony and even delight those who swear not liking certain things, such as offal, for example.
