Unless you live in a cave, you know what “La France” is, its idea, its Eiffel tower, its way of life, its universalism.Rival of Britain for centuries, French Empire and European Imperialism, France has marked the world landscape by its specificity. Through the name “La Grande Nation” for the Germans or this “Je ne sais quoi” for the British, France is still enjoying a great image throughout the world.France maybe alternately charming, endearing, irritating, frustrating, but most of all France is admired in our planet. Wine, Fragrance, Luxe, Cinema, Diplomacy and of course the legendary baguette, France is the cradle of the “Art de vivre”.It is merely impossible to do an exhaustive list of what to visit or see in France. From Strasbourg to Bordeaux, from Nice to Paris, without forgetting Brittany, Marseille, Lyon. Landscapes, roads, houses, cities, even the air are no similar to each other.

I / Paris
Should we present Paris again?Symbol of Romantism, Power and Luxury, Paris is the capital of France. With more than 12 million people in its region, Paris is slightly more populated than London, its perfect counterpart in Europe. An entire week would not be sufficient to visit every point of interests; at most youcould grab a perfume of its scent.

II / Mont Saint Michel
Castle of Normandy

The Mont Saint Michel is an Abbey and its city built on a rock on the middle of the Bay of St Michel. This place is veiled in mystery and is one of the most visited in France.

III / La Provence
Le Midi

The very South of France, another world where every person coming from beyond Lyon is considered a Northman. There, there are sun, colours, lavender, sea, noise of locust and people are enjoying afternoon’s nap. From Montpellier to Nizza, the diversity of landscapes and scents is unbelievable.

IV / Bordeaux and Aquitaine
Red Wine and Oyster

Elected best European city to visit in 2015, Bordeaux is a unique place, with its roman architecture and the Garonne. You can either take a stroll on the Garonne walk or visit the old city.

V/ Strasbourg and Alsace
The French that speak German

Finally, I choose Strasbourg as my friend lives here. Capital of Europe, founded by romans, Strasbourg and the “Petite-France” are beautiful. You should also visit the Cathedral, one of the biggest in Europe where you could see the region when you reach its upper platform.

Obviously, there is like 123456789 things to see or visit in France. I just hope you will have the opportunity to do it.
